Griffons
lead me to a plateau on a cliff beside the sea
(and watch the) griffons wheel beside another lighter side of me
(unfolds a) destiny foretold in anxious dreams of entropy
(as dolphins) glide beneath the rocks and shadows dance in fantasy
slip inside my trust and let me linger in your heart
trembling with lust and let forever ever start
lead me to the stars and let me hide beside your night
and now you're whispering again we're sliding slowly into light
hold me in your heart and dream me forwards to the sky
your endless warm embraces dissolving anguish in my eye
unkempt hallucinations slaking mysteries awry
atop some sombre mountain fastness where illusions go to die
slide into my dreams and let me linger in your heart
hold me in your arms and let forever never part
show me to the sky and let me hide beside the night
sing away your pain and softly guide you to the light
take me to your forest glade a dappled in the sun
hold me through your longest night until the dawn is spun
I'm drunk on love and stoned on sleep and happy that you've come
within the ashes of the future some new story's just begun
wash me to the sea along your valley's steep decline
watch me as the torrent tears your past tears into mine
tumbling cascades erode our bodies into sand
in peaceful verdant valleys where the water holds your hand
A Symphony of sighs becomes a poem in your eyes
tragedies and pain give way to Comedy again
the nights becomes your friend some place where stories never end
the water holds your hand and the night becomes your friend
slide into my dreams and let me linger in your heart
hold me in your arms and let forever never part
show me to the sky and let me hide inside the night
sing away your pain and softly guide me to the light
draw me from my cave wherein the sun has never shone
let the shadows echo as the sunbeams play upon
we're lying in the gutter but we're facing to the sky
we're looking at the stars a million light years from today

Lady Jesus Christ

In the bleak midwinter, frosty wind made moan,
Earth stood hard as iron, water like a stone;
Snow had fallen, snow on snow, snow on snow,
In the bleak midwinter, long ago.
Heaven cannot hold Her, nor scorched earth sustain;
Idols all must scatter before her subtle rain
In the dark hereafter, Kali names her price
Lovely Triple Goddess, Lady Jesus Christ.
Fast for Her, some ritual melding night to day,
Her breasts abound with plenty, belly ripe with play;
Dance in burning circles the goddess' icy breath
Death in Life she's chanting - Eternal Life in Death
What for can I give Her, poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd, I would bring a lamb;
If I were a Wise Man, I would do my part;
Yet what I can I give Her: give my heart.
(freely adapted from Christina Rossetti's poem)
